I think I’m pretty late to this whole annual bingo thing, but it might be interesting to see whether my current pessimism about 2026 feels justified, quaint, or entirely out of place around this time next year. Let’s hope it’s the latter.

3. A nuclear weapon will be detonated on the Lunar surface.
4. An interstellar object will impact one of the rocky planets.
5. Speaker Johnson will be ousted before the November midterm elections.

7. Donald Trump will treat New Zealand as part of Australia.
8. The ICC will issue an arrest warrant for the U.S. president or a cabinet member.
9. Another high-profile CEO will be assassinated.
10. Donald Trump will collapse during a televised address, rally, or similar.
11. The Speaker of the House will become president.
12. Debris from a kinetic attack on a satellite will take out at least three other active vehicles.
13. The U.S. will attempt regime change on (at least) two different continents.
