This page contains a sometimes-up-to-date list of the tools I use for work and personal projects. I’m primarily a C++ developer, and spend most of my development time in various Linux environments.

Software

Environment

• Ubuntu 20.04
• VMWare Workstation
  I used to use VirtualBox, but lack of support for rr led me to adopt VMWare
• Zsh + Oh My Zsh

Development Tools

• Sublime Text 4, with a handful of frequently-used plugins:
  • LSP - Support for Language Server Protocol
  • GitGutter - Show diffs in gutter
  • Base16 Color Schemes - Large set of color schemes
• GCC + GDB + rr
• clangd
• CMake

Hardware

• Dell Precision laptops for work and travel
• Custom-built desktop for most hobby work
  • Intel i7 6700K
  • NVidia GTX 1080
  • 16 GiB RAM
• 3 24”, 1080p displays
• 2 blank WASD V2 104-Key custom keyboards
